Parking Policy Enforcement | Pepe’s Towing

The Board of Directed has contracted Pepe’s Towing Service to enforce parking rules in guest parking. We would like to remind homeowners and residents, by city ordinance, emergency response vehicles must be able to access each unit through the garage or doorway so that if you or your neighbor needed an ambulance or firetruck, first responders could park their vehicle in that fire lane. No parallel parking anywhere, on sidewalks, streets or planters. Vehicles must be parked overnight in a garage, unit driveway, or in guest parking with a current Laurelwood parking permit. New signs will be installed on buildings with “No Parking Fire Lane” warnings.

Fire Lanes: Drivers will tow vehicles parked in fire lanes at any time without notice. (Flashers should be on if a vehicle is stopped for unloading for 15 minutes without a driver present.)

  • Parallel parking in street or sidewalk.
  • Blocking garage doors or over planters
  • Not 15 feet from fire-hydrant

Association Rules & Regulations

  • Unauthorized Parking: Drivers will monitor and tow after approval from property management for the following:
  • One courtesy citation will be offered to vehicles parked in overnight guest parking (11:00-6:00am) without a current blue/orange parking permit hung from rearview mirror. Red 2017 Parking Permits are invalid. Old HOA Parking Permits (Brown) are invalid.
  • After a second violation of overnight guest parking (11:00-6:00am) without a current blue parking permit hung from rearview mirror, the driver may tow.
  • Vehicles with Expired Plates Over 6 Months: Drivers will cite and tow these vehicles after 96 hours.
